Biography
Amy Mathis is a paralegal at Grinke Stewart. Amy has an unparalleled passion for serving others in the community. Amy joined Grinke Stewart in late 2023 following her retirement from Collin County after 28 years of service! Prior to her retirement, Amy was a Deputy District Clerk for the county. Prior to that, she was a Deputy County Clerk, and she also worked for the county’s detention facility early in her career. During her years of service with Collin County, Amy was involved in family, civil, criminal, and juvenile law; which means she has a wealth of experience to help our clients!
While working for Collin County, Amy devoted four years of her time as a volunteer advocate for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Being a volunteer advocate for CASA helped Amy to best serve her community and make a difference in neglected children’s lives. Amy has always had a heart for unprivileged children, so she also devoted her time and energy to National Adoption Day at the Collin County Courthouse for multiple years. Amy’s devotion to, and involvement with, Collin County, has allowed her to cultivate amazing relationships with the Courts, their staff members, and many offices through out the county. We are lucky to have Amy as part of the Grinke Stewart team!
